Steps 1-6.   1.Place all biohazard waste in autoclave can. 2.Place all biohazard slides in biohazard box. 3.Remove all items from bench. 4.Disinfect bench with gloves still on. 5.Remove gloves and place them in autoclave can. 6.Wash hands with antimicrobial soap.

What is the most dangerous culture and why?   Broth culture, because its easy to spill/splash that can create aerosols and is loaded with bacteria.

BSL-2?   Biosafety Level Two: moderate environmental health hazard. The organisms are associated with human diseases. Examples of the diseases are Salmonella, Clostridium difficile, Staphylococcus areus and Borrelia burgdorferi.

BSL-2 Agents and their routes?   Agents: associated with human diseases. Routes: Percutaneous Injury, Ingestion, Mucous Membrane Exposure.

Examples of BSL-2 agents routes?   1.Percutaneous Injury: scratch, burn, and puncture. 2.Ingestion: swallowing, hands-to-mouth contact and splashing. 3.Mucous Membrane Exposure: eye, mouth and nose entrance
