Climate   The average weather conditions in an area over a long period of time.

Humidity   The amount of water vapor in the air.

Relative Humidity   The ratio of the amount of water vapor in the air to the maximum amount of water vapor the air can hold at a set temperature.

Cumulus Clouds   A cloud forming rounded masses heaped on each other above a flat base at fairly low altitude.

Stratus Clouds   Cloud forming a continuous horizontal, gray sheet often with rain or snow.

Cirrus Clouds   Cloud forming wispy filamentous tufted streaks at high altitude.

Cyclone   A system of winds rotating inwards to an area of low atmospheric pressure with a counter clockwise or clockwise circulation.

Anticyclone   A weather system with high atmospheric pressure at it's center, around which air slowly circulates in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction.

Barometer   An instrument measuring atmospheric pressure, used esp. in forecasting the weather and determining altitude.

Anamometer   An instrument for measuring the speed of wind or of any current of gas.
