chloroplast a structure in plantcells that captures ligth energy that is used in the food making process.
cell wall the tough outer covering of a plant that gives the cell its rigid shape.
roots the under ground part of a plant that anchors the plant and absorbs water and nutrients.
setm the part of a plant that suports the leaves and flowers and carries water tothes parts.
leaf a plant in which phodosynthesis take s place.
phodosynthesis the proess of using oxygen to release energy from food.
tropism a growth reponse of a plant to conditions in the environment such as light or water.
cell respiration the process of using oxygen to release energy from food.
