What is an igneous rock? a "fire-made" rock formed from melted rock material
What is sedimentary rock A kind of rock formed when sand, mud, and pebbles at the bottom of rivers, lakes, and oceans pile up
What is metamorphic rock? A rock that has changed form through squeezing and heating

How many ways can Earth's rocks form? Three
What are the three ways Earth's rocks can form? Igneous rock is a "firemade" rock it is formed when melted rock cools and hardens. If a rock cools slowly, granite forms. If melted rock flows to the surface and cools quickly it forms rocks such as basalt
What are some uses of rocks? Make roads, walls, and buildings. Glass is made from sand which is tiny rock pieces. Soil is made from small pieces of rock. Salt is a mineral people need. Pencils contain a mineral called graphite. iron, gold, and silver are minerals
