Explain freeze-thaw action. A type of physical weathering that happends when water gets into a crack of a rock and freezes.The frozen water exands and makes the crack larger.

What is biological weathering. This is when plant roots go inside of rocks because of the minerals inside it. The roots become so large that the rock cracks.
What is onion skin weathering? It is when the tempurate turns from hot,making the layer of the rock peel off,and then it turns cold which makes the layers shed and fall off.
What is erosion. It is when physical weather breaks down the rocks.

How is a fossil formed? It is when an animal dies at the bottom of the sea and then it is squashed by the little sediments in the sea.

What are fossil fuels? It is a type of fuel which has been fossilized.
How are fossil fuels made? The same way as fossils but when a plant dies.
Where do we usually find fossil fuels many years ago? Swamps.
Estimate how long it will take for a fossil to be made. Few years.
