FOTSS Energy Storage Liquids Stored in cells of yellow marrow are an important source of chemical energy.
Fascia A three dimensional sheet of connective tissue that permeates the body. It provides structural integrity, support, and shock absorption. There are three types of _______ superficial, deep, and viseral.
Superficial Fascia composed of mainly areolar and adipose tissue. It blends with the dermis and fills up occupied space. Superficijal fascia protects, cushions, and insulates. It stores fat and water and provides a passageway for lymph, nerve, and blood vessels

Visceral Fascia Envelopes and holdes the organs within their cavities. Each organ is covered by a double layer of facia. The outer layer is known as the parietal layer and the inner layer is the __. In the brain its meninges, in the heart is is pericardia.
Tendons Also known as sinews. Touge bands of fibrous connective tissue running through the muscle. Tissue joins to form a tendon. The tendon continues beyond the muscle tissue and connects to the bone.
Ligaments A short band of tough, fibrous, connective tissue composed mainly of long stringy collagen fibers. They serve to connect bone to bone and limit movement. Some internal organs are suspended by these
