Who were the apostles? The first followers of Jesus Christ, sent out to spread his teachings
Why was Paul an important figure in early Christianity? He was at first an opponent of Christianity but later bacame a missionary and spread Christianity throughout the Roman empire.
Why were Christians punnished for their beliefs? They did not worship or follow Roman religion. This was viewed as a religion against the Empire.

Why was the Edict of Milan important? It made Christianity an acceptable religion.
How did Rome's attitude toward Christianity change? It became an accepted relition and began replacing previous religious beliefs. Romans did not abuse and kill Christians as much.
How did Rome finally end? Split into 2 empires: Western: broke in2 several barbarian kingdoms Eastern: Byzantine Empire - 1000 years - Roman ways... Empire fell due to *lack of good emperors*soldiers turning on leaders*no protection of borders*high taxes
