names of different clouds

Alto in the middle of the sky. added to cloud words that are mid - level
Cirro added to clloud words. means high in elevation
Strato Layered clouds. added to cloud words to describe a blanketed cloud, that is low in the sky.
Nimbus Means rain. added to cloud words, when dark and heacy looking.
Cumulo A heaped cloud. Can be combined with nimbus. (cumulonimbus). cumulonimbus means strong thunderstorms coming.
Stratus Low clouds that hang in sheets like a blanket. Rain or snow might be coming.
Cirrus Wispy and feathery. high in the elevation, and can mean a storm.
