What is ecological design Ecological design can be defined as any form of design that minimizes environmentally destructive impacts by integrating itself with living processes
What is gained by placing ecology in the foreground of design It provides specific ways of minimizing energyand materials use, reducing pollution, preserving habitat,and fostering community, health and beauty
What is the goal of this book It is a small step toward creating a design process that has the preservation and restoration of the ecological commons at its core
