What is the definition of Oligarchy? One if several people who rule a country.
what is the definition of Tyranny? A person who seizes power illegally.
What is the definition of Democracy? Rule by the people.
What did they farm in Ancient Greece? Olives, Wheat, Grapes, and they harvested honey.
For starting Colonies you had to have? Farmland to feed people, boats for transportation, and terrain to find place to settle.
Why did people trade for goods? people traded for goods so that they could have the things that they didn't have or had less of.
For Athens what was 1 Difficult thing for them? The terrain/ Traveling because of the Mountains and Rocky terrain.
What method did people in Athens use for Farming? The people in Athens dug steps in the side of a hill or mountain so that they could Grow their Crops.
why was trading so hard for Sparta? Trading was difficult for Sparta because there wasn't a lot of water around them and because of the High Mountains.
Before starting a colony what did Sparta have to do? Sparta had to light the sacred fkame where ever they were going to have their colony.
