Top Soil Has a lot of humus, which is dead plants and animals like worms and insects live on here
Sub Soil Does not have a lot of humus. It does have small pieces of rock in it
Parent Material Has Larger rocks in it
Bed Rock Is made of solid rock
Weathering happens when rocks break down into smaller pieces
