Atomic Structure Notes

Everything that has mass and takes up space is called..... Matter
These are in the nuclues, never changes, has a positive charge. Protons
These have no charge, push apart, and are located in the nuclues. Nuetrons.
These have a negative charge, orbit the nuclues. Electrons.
This formula- Protons + nutrons (p+n) = mass number- is for..... The Atomic Mass
This number, the smaller number on the table of elements, tells you the number of protons,and will identify the element is the.... Atomic Number or Weight.
The number of protons = the number of... Electrons.
