Questions about atoms

What three distinct particles make up an atom? Protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Where are neutrons found? In the nucleus.
What is the purpose of a neutron? To hold the nucleus and the protons together.
What is the electric charge on an electron? -1 charge.
Why do electrons give the nucleus a "fuzzy" appearance? Because the electrons are always moving around the nucleus.
What is the eletric charge on a proton? +1 charge.
If an atom is neutral, what do you know about the number of protons compared to the number of electrons? That there will be an equal amount of protons and electrons.
