archaeologist The scientific study of past cultures by analyzing artifacts and monuments.
artifact An object made or modified by people.
geography The study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected by these.
economy The way people in a community use resources to meet their needs and wants
political scientist a social scientist specializing in the study of government.
culture The customary beliefs, social forms, and traits of a racial, religious, or social group.
historian A social scientist who studies what happened in the past, who was involved, and why it happened
natural features landscape features that were created by natural processes(not manmade). For example, rivers and mountains.
