Causes of the American Revolution

Backcountry | a sparsely populated rural region remote from a settled area |
Casualties | a member of the armed forces lost to service through death, wounds, sickness, capture, or because his or her whereabouts or condition cannot be determined. |

Daugherts of Liberty | A group of women who support boycotting goods. |
Committees of Correspondence | Groups of colonists that contacted towns and colonies to share ideas and information about new British laws and ways to challenge them. |
