How do cells keep organisms alive and healthy? The work together to carry out life processes, such as digesting food.
What is tissue? A group of cells that work together to perform a certain function.
What is an organ? A group of tissues that work together to perform a certain function.
What is an organ system? A group of organs that work together to do a job for the body.
What is the digestive system? The organ system that turns food into nutrients that body cells need for energy, growth, and repair.
When similar cells work together to do a job, what do they form? a tissue
