| Osama in Afghan- | the leader of the Al Qaeda terrorist group and he was responsible for the attack of 9/11, the U.S. gave him help a few years ago and gave him weapons and money, this turned out bad |
| Saddam Hussein- | The U.S. also helped him with weapons and money and he was the President of Iraq for over 30 years |
| Vietnam War- | this was between the North and the South of Vietnam, with the U.S. helping the south and the Russians helping the north, all of these connect because it is the U.S. fighting Russia |
| Conscientious Objectors | this is the appeal of going into the war with claims based on religion and freedom, kids used this to avoid the draft |
| Student Protests- | this was when the students protested the war by going to places and picketing with signs and such, some got violent and this was mostly so they didn’t have to go to the war |
