Study Character Definitions

What is the definition of a flat character?= Minor characters in a work of fiction who do not undergo substantial change or growth in the course of a story.
What is the definition of a static character? A character doesn't change.
What is the definition of a round character? This character seems real to you, like people you know in real life.
What is the definition of a dynamic character? The opposite of static characters, and will undergo some kind of change in the the story.
What is the definition of a stock character? Characters draw from widely known cultural types for their characteristics and mannerisms, and are often used in parody.
What is the definition of a protagonist character? The main character in a story, novel, drama, or other literary work, the character that the reader or audience empathizes with.
What is the definition of a antagonist character? A character in the story who provides the story's conflict with the protagonist.
