OBSERVATION LEVELS

Success Criteria

QuestionAnswer
LEVEL 2 OBSERVATION I can copy pictures and objects as flat basic shapes.
LEVEL 3 OBSERVATION I can copy some detailed 2D (two-dimensional) shapes.
LEVEL 4 OBSERVATION I can copy some detailed 2D (two-dimensional) shapes and some simple 3D (three-dimensional) forms.
LEVEL 5 OBSERVATION I can copy 2D and 3D images from Primary and Secondary sources realistically. I can record 3D forms accurately because I make sure that the lengths, heights and widths of my subjects are measured correctly in comparison with each other.
LEVEL 6 OBSERVATION I can record objects and images realistically using the correct proportions for the different DIMENSIONS so that these are shown accurately whether reduced in size, recorded to scale, enlarged or subject to the basic effects of PERSPECTIVE.
LEVEL 7/8/* OBSERVATION I can record objects and images very realistically using the correct proportions for the different DIMENSIONS so that these are shown accurately when reduced in size, recorded to scale, enlarged or subject to the effects of PERSPECTIVE and FORESHORTENING.
