osteoporosis disease caused by abnormal loss of bone density occurring predominantly in postmenopausal women, which can lead to an increase in fractures of the ribs, thoracic & lumbar vertebrae, hips, & wrists
rheumatoid arthritis a chronic systemic disease characterized by inflammatory changes in the connective tissue throughout the body
