Science Eclipse Test

QuestionAnswer
Is the moon closer or farther from the Earth during an annular eclipse? The moon is farther from the Earth during an annular eclipse.
How much of the moon is illuminated during each phase? Always half of the moon is illuminated during each phase.
Why do we always see one side of the moon? Explain. One side of the moon is more dense than the other side which makes it more attracted to the Earth.
Which kind of eclipse do more people see for themselves, a total lunar eclipse or a total solar eclipse? Why? A total lunar eclipse because almost half the world can see a lunar eclipse, whereas you have to be in a certain area to see a solar eclipse.
