coronary circulation flow of blood to tissues of the heart
artery blood vessel with thick elastic wall made of smooth muscle that moves blood AWAY from the heart
vein blood vessel that moves blood TO heart & has valves to prevent backwar movement of blood
capillary microscopic blood vessel that connects arteries & veins; nutrients, oxygen, wast materials & CO2 diffuse through its walls
blood pressure force exerted on vessel walls by blood when heart pumps it through the cardiovascular system
