What is a nucleus? A nucleus is the core of an atom.
What is a proton? A proton is a positively charged particle in an atom.
What is a neutron? A neutron is a neutrally charged particle in an atom.
What is an ion? An ion is formed by the gain or loss of one or more electrons.
What is an electron? Electrons are circles around the electron cloud.
What is atomic mass? Atomic mass is the weight of an atom.
What is atomic number? Atomic number is the number of protons and electrons in an atom.

What is a meteor? A meteor is a meteorite that has entered the Earth's atmosphere.
What is a spiral galaxy? A spiral galaxy is a galaxy having a spiral structure.
What is a light year? A light year is the distance traveled by light in one mean solar year.
