alternative energy refers to any source of usable energy intended to replace fuel sources without the undesired consequences of replaced fuels.
recycle to create new materials form used products.
fossil fuels several types of naturally occuring fuel formed from the remains of plants and animals that died thousands or millions of years ago.
greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun.
renewable energy comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat.
non-renewable energy is a natural resource which cannot be produced, grown, generated, or used on a scale which can sustain its consumption rate. They are consumed much faster such as coal, petroleum and natural gas.
hydroelectric pertaining to the generation and distribution of electricity derived from energy of falling water or any other hydraulic source.
crystal a solid material made up of molecules that arranged in repeating patterns.
