Competition Competition is a relationship between organisms in which one is harmed when both are trying to use the same resource related to growth, reproduction, or survivability.
Cooperation When members of the same species work or act together for a common purpose or benefit
Predation An interaction in which one organism kills another for food or nutrients is called predation
Predator The organism that does the killing is called the predator
Prey an animal that is hunted or killed by another animal for food.

Symbiosis Symbiosis is an ecological relationship between two species that live in close proximity to each other.
Mutualism Symbiosis where both species benefit
Commensalism Symbiosis where one species benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed
Parasitism Symbiosis where one species benefits and the other is harmed. The parasite benefits the host is harmed.
