who was king tut? king tut was a young pharoah who became king after tutankhamen.
who were the Hyksos? a small group of western asian people who ruled northern Egypt.
what did the Egyptians trade? they traded wheat, paper, gold, copper, tin and tools, for purple dye, wood and furniture.
why do they call it the gift of the river? they call it that because its the creator of all good.
how did the Egyptians write? they developed their own writing system, it was made out of pictures and symbols.
who was narmer? was a king of upper Egypt, he led is armies to the north into the delta.
what is a pharaoh? a pharaoh is a king and a ruler.
what did the Egyptians believe about the after life? they belived it would be better than there present life.
did children have to respect there parents? yes, they were called to respect there parents.
what rights did women have? they could only work as servants.
what's a dynasty? a long line of rulers is called a dynasty.
what is a theocracy? a political and a religious leader.
what were pyramids? pyramids are tombs for the pharaohs.
were did most Egyptians live? they lived in the fertile nile valley and the delta.
how did the people live? everyone had a house hold task.
