Table Allows easy access to all areas of client. Height allows for proper body mechanics to alleviate stress to all areas of giver's body. Comfort of client
Face cradle Allows client’s head to remain comfortably in easy to massage position. Adjustable
Bolstering Allows client to rest comfortably without stress on sensitive areas
Sheets Change after each client, Allows for sanitation, clean area for client, modesty, warmth
Massage oil Allows movement without excess friction on skin for effleurage, petrissage, and some types of friction
Define Grounded refers to awareness of and relationship to the ground or the earth we use the ground a to support movement as we move- mentally and emotionally stable
Define Centered awareness of your core or center- focus attention on massage session and being present in the moment. Self-confident, goal-oriented, and well-balanced
