Open Source When a software program has its source code is freely available to the public
Freeware Software you can download, pass around, and distribute without initial payment, and it is copy righted.
Piracy Install and use commercial software without paying for it.
Keyword words or phrases that describe content
Nodes system or device connected to a network/ folder or file on your hard drive - leaf
Firewall limits the data that can pass through it
Banner advertising; long, rectangular image
Skyscraper advertising; tall and narrow
Cookie data sent to your computer by a server that records your actions on the website
RSS method of providing websites content such as news stories or software updates
NetBIOS Network Basic Input/Output System - interface between the computers operating system and the hardware
