Meniscus You measure liquids in a cylindrical container from the bottom of this
Test tube A small glass cylinder that is closed at one end
Thermometer Used to measure temperature
Bunsen burner Produces heat with a flame
Hot plate Produces heat electronically

Distance What you would measure in meters
Volume What you would measure in liters
Grams You measure mass in this SI unit
Newton The SI unit of force
Celsius The SI unit for temperature
SI International system (In French it is “Systeme International”)
