TPACK Model

TermDefinition
What is TPACK? a framework that identifies the knowledge teachers need to teach effectively with technology
Content Knowledge (CK) The knowledge that the teacher has about the content they are teaching.
Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) The teacher's knowledge about how to teach the content.
Technology Knowledge (TK) Knowledge about certain ways of thinking about, and working with technology, tools and resources.
Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) The understanding of how particular topics, problems, or issues can be adapted and presented to match the diverse interests and abilities of learners.
Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) An understanding of the manner in which technology and content influence and constrain one another.
Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) Understanding of how teaching and learning can change when particular technologies are used in particular ways.
Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Underlying truly meaningful and deeply skilled teaching with technology,
How many components are there in TPACK? Seven
