The War at Home

What does mobilization mean? the gathering of resources and the preparation for war.
What was the purpose of the War Labor Board? it pressured businesses to grant some of the workers pressing demands,it was also equal pay for men and women.
Who was able to fill the many factory jobs that were available during the war? women and minorities
What is one thing the government made the money to pay for the war? They selled Americans Liberty Bonds.
Who moved in large numbers dusing the Great Migration? Africa Americans
Why did the Africa Americans move? They left to go find new homes and jobs.
What are pacifists? people opposed to the use of violence.
