QuestionAnswer
Integrity (noun) the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
Societal Norm (adjective) ways of behaving that are considered normal in a particular society.
Dialogue (noun) conversation between two characters in a text. Dialogue is usually set apart from the prose using quotation marks and speaking tags.
Counterclaim (noun) a claim made in opposition to an author’s previous claim.
Theme (noun) a theme is the message or lesson an author expresses using character, plot, setting, and details in the story.
Narrator (noun) a person who narrates something, especially a character who recounts the events of a novel or narrative poem.
Point of view (noun) the “eye” or narrative voice through which you tell a story. When writing a story, the author decides who is telling the story, and to whom they are telling it.
Racism (noun) It is a system of oppression that is based in and upholds the superiority of White people and the inferiority of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Racism (noun) Racism was created by and upheld through policies, practices, and procedures to create inequities between racial groups.
Racist (noun) is one who is supporting a racist policy through their actions or inactions or expressing a racist idea.
