Why did the experience of Mexicans differ from other Latin Americans in their quest for independence. | Mexico's revolution was led by mestizos and Indians instead of the creoles. It started from peasants and not with people with a relatively high social status. |

What political problems did LA have after independence? | Most people didn't have a vote or anyone who represented their concerns in the gov't. Creoles (people in power) didn't know how to run a democracy. Caudillos took over and stole money from taxes, etc. |
