What are some terms that an individual with a lose-win mindset might say? "I always get stepped on.", "Have your way with me. Everybody else does.", "Poor me!"
What may keep one in the lose-win mindset? Having a permanent victim mentality and not being brave enough to stick up for yourself will keep you stuck in a lose-win mindset.
What may keep one in the lose-lose mindset? Getting revenge if you don't win and criticizing others will keep you in the lose-lose mindset. Being envious instead of proud of others will also keep you here.
People who think win-win or no deal live by what two principles? Courage and consideration.
How did Petersen show that he thinks win-win or no deal in the half marathon race? Once one of his opponents made a wrong turn in front of him, he got his attention and helped him get on track, resulting in the opponent deservingly winning the race.
If you are high in consideration but low in courage, what mindset would this keep you in? A lose-win mindset.
What may keep an individual in a lose-win mindset? Being eager to please and reluctant to stand up for yourself due to wanting to be liked and avoiding trouble will keep one in a lose-win mindset.
If you are low in both courage and consideration, what mindset would this keep you in? A lose-lose mindset.
What keeps individuals in the lose-lose mindset? Not caring if other people lose, as well as not having the courage to stand up for yourself.
If you are low in consideration but high in courage, bold but cold, what mindset are you in? A win-lose mindset.
When you do something that helps the relationship, what is this considered? An emotional deposit.
When you do something that hurts the relationship, what is this considered? An emotional withdrawal.
How do you know whether a deposit or a withdrawal is an exception to other people? You must find out, communicating and maintaining honest.
What is an example of an emotional deposit? Introducing yourself to fellow classmates and professors, as kindness results in an emotional deposit.
What is an example of an emotional withdrawal? Being unkind, discourteous, and disrespectful to others results in emotional withdrawal.
How is keeping promises an emotional deposit? Keeping promises builds trust and shows you are reliable, building the emotional bank account, at it is very time consuming to rebuild and EBA.
How is keeping confidences an emotional deposit? When someone shares something in confidence, keep it that way. When information gets spread, it can cause words to be twisted around, resulting in trouble.
What is being loyal to the absent and how is it an emotional deposit? Being loyal to the absent is not gossiping, while speaking up if someone is gossiping. This is an emotional deposit because it shows that you are a loyal caring friend.
How is setting clear expectations an emotional deposit? Falling through on what's expected and proving your words with actions is an emotional deposit.
How is apologizing an emotional deposit? Admitting you're in the wrong and apologizing is an emotional deposit because it is allowing you to own up to your actions instead of making excuses.
How does not apologizing turn into a withdrawal? Making excuses and not owning up to your wrongs makes this an emotional withdrawal.
Why is forgiving an emotional deposit? Forgiving and forgetting results in healing and avoiding hurting yourself the way you were hurt. Getting revenge or even only emotionally withdraws from everyone involved.
