Synergize

TermDefinition
Synergize The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, to combine or work together in order to be more productive, working interdependently.
Negative Synergy "Together is better", when combined effort is less than the value of an individual entity.
Positive Synergy When outcomes of a team is far more effective than an individuals productivity.
What Synergize Gets you Effective solutions, better relationships, greater learning and team appreciation.
3rd Alternative Use Synergy to get to a better solution to problems or to make a decision, and is a useful tool when dealing with important problems.
3rd Alternative - Step 1 Define the Problem-make sure you understand the real problem, share what is really going on.
3rd Alternative - Step 2 Listen to their Views- listen empathically, let the person talk until they feel heard.
3rd Alternative - Step 3 Share your Views- share your best thinking and feel understood, expand on those ideas.
3rd Alternative - Step 4 Brainstorm- after ideas are shared, are you willing to invest the time to create a solution.
3rd Alternative - Step 5 Create the Best Solution- after ideas are heard, insights will come. Synergize, form solutions, consider ideas, build on them, superior ideas will emerge.
