Win-Lose high on courage and low on consideration ex: you can't win unless other people lose
Lose-Win low on courage and high on consideration ex: you're not brave enough to stick up for yourself and you get stepped on
Win-Win or No Deal high on courage and high on consideration ex: we're going to win together
Lose-Lose low on courage and low on consideration ex: if you can't win, nobody wins
EBAs Emotional Bank Accounts
EBA Deposit when you something that helps the relationship, that's a deposit
EBA Withdrawal when you do something that hurts the relationship, that's a withdrawal
Second Deposit treat people with kindness, keep promises, and keep confidence
Second Withdrawal be unkind, discourteous, and disrespectful
Be Loyal to The Absent avoid gossiping or backbiting. instead, if you hear someone bad-mouthing a friend, speak up.
Set Clear Expectations don't leave things fuzzy ask for clarification and follow through on what's expected
Apologize if you're in the wrong, admit it now and don't wait. making excuses instead of making things better turns into an even bigger withdrawal.
Forgive learn to forgive and to forget so that you don't keep hurting yourself the way you were hurt.
Find Out What a Deposit Is for the Other Person what you think is a deposit for the other person may in fact be a withdrawal in their mind. you won't know unless you find out.
