Define: Chemistry The study of chemicals
Define: Atom Smallest particles of an element that maintains the chemical properties of that element.
What is the temperature at which a liquid boils called? Boiling Point
What is a molecule? A group of atoms that join together to act as a single unit.
What is inside an atom? A core nucleus, which contains protons and neutrons, and the nucleus is surrounded by electrons.
What is the atomic mass of an element comprised of? The total number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus.
What is the atomic number? The number of protons an atom has.
True or false: The atomic number is the number of protons AND the same number of electrons. True.
