Asthma | periodic attacks of wheezing,tightness in chest, breathing difficulties.Triggers allergies, emotional stress infection drug use inhalation of irritants cigerous exercise or psychosomatic disorder. |
asthma cont. | Common in school age tendency to outgrow kept under control with medical assistance. Successive and severe attacks can result in reduced oxygen supply to body and permanent disability |
Chickenpox | Mild infectious disease caused by herpes virus. Primary symptoms a rash that appears mostly on skin and lining og the mouth and throat. primarily affects kids 5-9. recovery usually fast 7-10 days. |
chicken pox | Adolescence and adults prone to complications and slower recovery period. Immunization is available for ppl over 12 mon. If chicken pox occurs in ears there may be a toxic effect that results in bilateral hearing loss. |
Colds | usually caused by a viral infection of the nose and throat. symptoms nasal congestion runny noise sneezing mild sore throat watery eyes hoarseness abdominal pain coughing. temp conductive hearing loss may occur. |
colds cont. | usually in winter and children immunity increases as grow older. not serious in most cases but infection can spread to middle ears, sinuses larynx trachea lungs can result in secondary bacterial infection ex: bronchitis otitis media and sinusitis |
croup | viral disorder a barking liek cough hoarsness respirtory distress inhalatory strider resulting from swelling of larynx and treachea. most cases a complication of cold or flu. affects primarly 3 mon to 3yr usually occur at night fall and winter. indication |

Dizziness | sensation of spinning wither within a person or their environment. symmptom of several neurological or aural disturbances.or stoke. middle ear pathology maybe present. associated with balance problems. |
