Understanding Habit 4: Win-Win

What is Win-Lose? When one person benefits from another's loss
What is Lose-Win? It is not being able to win due to the lack of confidence within yourself, so you always go for the "poor me" mentality
What is Lose-Lose? A situation where no one benefits from, which comes from envying or criticizing another person
What is Win-Win- or No Deal? Being able to stick together. If one benefits the other will too, and the same vice versa
What type of balance is created in a Win-Win or No Deal situation? Courage and Consideration
Why is having a Win-Lose mentality a disadvantage? It could stop new doors from opening. Having this mentality shows individuals that you are a selfish and self centered person that only cares about what benefits them
How can someone with a Lose-Win mentality be affected in the long run? A person with this type of mentality will more than likely be a push-over. Which could eventually affect their mental health
What does EBAs stand for? Emotional Bank Accounts
How can you make "deposits" in a persons EBA? Find out what a deposit is for the other person. Be kind, Keep Promises, Keep Confidence, Be Loyal, Set Clear Expectations, Apologize, Forgive
What makes a withdrawal to a persons EBA? Doing the opposite of what makes a deposit to the EBA
How do promises and confidence go hand-in-hand? Committing to promises will give the other individual the confidence to be able to come to you
How do you set clear expectations? Communication plays a major part in setting clear expectations
