Balance Courage and Consideration Building effective relationships with people by working for their benefit as well as mine
Win-Lose You're in it for the win at the expense of the other losing
Lose-Win Not sticking up for yourself, allowing people to step on you and take advantage, you have insecurity issue
Lose-Lose If I don't win, nobody wins. You put others down and envy and criticize others
Win-Win or No Deal You're in it for the both people, you want them to succeed as well as you, you make sure they good and you have balance for both courage and consideration
Making Deposits in Other People's Emotional Bank Accounts Making Deposits of kindness and helpfulness in people's Emotional accounts
Finding out what a Deposit is for another person You might think to you what is considered a deposit may be a withdrawal for the other person
Do Acts of Kindness Do things just because not needed validation, withdrawals would be to be unkind, disrespectful and discourteous
Other ways to make Deposits Keep promises, confidences, be loyal not absent, set clear expectations, apologize, forgive
Two Rules for Making Deposits 1. A deposit is only a deposit if the other person sees it as one. 2. It can take one or more deposits to make up for a withdrawal.
