All About TPACK

This study stack is a resource for memorization of the key concepts of TPACK.

What is TPACK? TPACK is a technology integration framework that identifies three types of knowledge instructors need to combine for successful edtech integration.
What does TPACK stand for? Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (a.k.a. TPACK).
Who developed TPACK? The TPACK framework was introduced by Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler of Michigan State University in 2006.

What are the components of TPACK? The 7 components are: Technological Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, Content Knowledge, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, Technological Content Knowledge, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge as a whole.
What are the 3 main types of knowledge within TPACK? Technological Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Content Knowledge.
What is Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)? Understanding the best practices for teaching specific content to your specific students.
What is Technological Content Knowledge (TCK)? Knowing how the digital tools available to you can enhance or transform the content, how it’s delivered to students, and how your students can interact with it.
What is Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK)? Understanding how to use your digital tools as a vehicle to the learning outcomes and experiences you want.
