Why did Alexander continue his conquests after Darius was dead? Alexander believed it was his destiny to conquer and rule men. The defeat of the Persians only fueled his dreams of further world conquests. It opened the way for his armies to continue to expand the Empire in to Asia
With Alexander the Great in mind, what qualifications or characteristics do you think are needed for a leader to build an empire? charisma (to gather ppl’s support), ideas (to help change or create a better place than before), military strength (to help in empire building), and opportunism (to know when an opportunity shows itself and quickly take advantage)
