Nomads Person who moves from place to place without a permanent home.
Populate To become an inhabitant of a place.

Civilization Complex society that has cities, a well organized government, and workers with specialized job skills.
Neolithic Age "New Stone Age." Broad prehistoric period and final stage of cultural and technological development of early humans, lasting from 8000-3000 BCE
Neolithic Revolution From 10,000-8000 BCE, a turning point in history that changed the way Paleolithic people lived their lives, shifting from hunting and gathering for food to agriculture and settling down permanently
Archaeology Scientific study of ancient cultures through the examination of artifacts and other evidence
Archaeologist Scientist who studies human life in the past by examining the things that people left behind
Artifact An object made by humans that is of archaeological or historical interest
Ecofact Remains that are not made by humans, but are used by humans, and provide information about a human’s past
Feature Anything made or changed by humans that cannot be removed without destroying its’ original form
Observation Something noticed or perceived through your senses
Inference Making an educated guess based on facts (what you observe)
Opinion A personal feeling which isn’t always based on facts
