Habit 4 study guide

TermDefinition
Emotional Bank Account (EBA) This is where people's emotions come into play. You want to make deposits into others' EBA rather than withdrawals.
Win-Lose When you think more about how a situation will turn out for you with no regard for the way it turns out for the other person/people involved.
Lose-Win When you become more passive instead of sticking up for what you want. You allow the other person/people to come out on top while you have no regard for yourself.
Lose-Lose When your actions cause no good outcome in a situation. You and the other person/people involved all end up with a negative outcome.
Win-Win You work together with anyone involved in a situation and you both/all come out on top. Everyone agrees and gets what they want and the outcome is positive for everyone involved.
Courage Being able to stand up for what you want, believe in, etc. When you are courageous, more doors are open to you.
Consideration Keeping another person's feeling and thoughts in mind when making decisions. When you are considerate, you are the oposite of selfish. You care about how things turn out, not only for yourself, but everyone involved.
Forgiveness When you fully let go of something that was done to you in a negative way or something that impacted you negatively via someone else. Forgiveness helps you release negative energy and hold on to the positive. It is also very difficult to do.

You can also use your keyboard to move the cards as follows:

If you are logged in to your account, this website will remember which cards you know and don't know so that they are in the same box the next time you log in.

When you need a break, try one of the other activities listed below the flashcards like Matching, Snowman, or Hungry Bug. Although it may feel like you're playing a game, your brain is still making more connections with the information to help you out.
