satrap governor of a Persian province
satrapy the territory governed by the satrap
Zoroastrianism Persian religion based on the belief of one god
direct democracy all citizens meet to debate and vote on govt matters
representative democracy citizens elect a smaller group of people to represent them , make laws and govern on their behalf
philosophers thinkers who reflect on the meaning of life; a person who searches for wisdom or enlightenment
