Which side mobilized more troops during the war? The Central Powers
Which side had a higher casualty rate? The Central Powers
Which country suffered the most casualties? For the Allies, Russia had the most. For the Central Powers, Germany
Where did most of the fighting actually take place? The eastern and Western Front
What were the conditions of the war? Cramped trench warfare with rats, lice, sound was muffled and loud. People were waiting to die. People would rush to get on gas masks when there was a chemical attack.
New Technology and the impact of fighting? First big war after the industrial revolution. Planes introduced at the end, uboats were introduced, first use of chemical warfare
