This is an organ that stores bile until it is released into the small intestine. Gallbladder
The body system that breaks down food in to nutrients that the body can use. Digestive System
An organ that filters water and dissolved wastes from the blood and helps maintain proper levels of water and salt in the body. Kidney
A gland that produces enzymes and chemicals that control blood sugar levels. Pancreas
A narrow tube that connects the kidney to the bladder. Ureter
This tube is what allows urine to pass out of the body from the urinary bladder. Urethra
A large gland that produces bile, a substance to aid in the digestion of fats. Liver
The body system that removes liquid wastes. Urinary System
This substance is a pale yellow liquid that is composed of water,salts, and other waste. Urine
These are tiny, finger like structures that absorb water and nutrients from the food and deliver them into the bloodstream. Villi
