Egalitarian | relating to or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities |
Kinship | blood relationship |
Patriarchy | a system of society or government in which the father or eldest male is head of the family and descent is traced through the male line |
Hindrance | a thing that provides resistance, delay, or obstruction to something or someone |
Elite | a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society |
Pastoral | a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society |
Stratified | form or arrange into strata. |
Conduit | a channel for conveying water or other fluid |
Artisan | a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand |
Textile | a type of cloth or woven fabric |
Surplus | an amount of something left over when requirements have been met; an excess of production or supply over demand |
Bureaucracy | a system of government in which most of the important decisions are made by state officials rather than by elected representatives |
