Habit 7 Sharpen the Saw Module 17 Main Point Sharpen the saw is about renewing my energy, my health, my mind, and my relationships. If I don't do these things, I'll naturally burnout and become useless.
Principles Renewal and Balance See- I must continuously renew my sources of energy to be happy and successful.

Principles Renewal and Balance Get- Health, great relationships, sharp mind, a meaningful life
What are the four basic human needs? Physical, social-emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Physical Needs Food, exercise, sleep, hydration, regular checkups, and hygiene
Social-Emotional Needs Friends, family, study groups, and social media
Mental Needs Schoolwork, class discussions, lectures, journals, literature, and skill development
Spiritual Needs Service, meditation, art, music, nature, inspirational reading, and religious worship
Sharpen the Physical Saw Get enough sleep, exercise, and eat healthier. 1.Clear your mind 2.Work your heart 3.Lift weights 4.Take a break
Sharpen the Social-Emotional Saw Take a break, build friendships, date intelligently, and take time for yourself
Habit 7 Sharpen the Saw Module 18 Main Point Sharpen your mind by taking advantage of all the learning opportunities college offers outside of your area of study-guest lectures, conferences, plays, a library. Also, stay in touch with your life purpose-your personal mission and goals.
Sharpen the Mental Saw Stay well rounded and become a lifelong learner
Sharpen the Spiritual Saw 1.Reflect on personal mission statement and goals 2.Meditating 3.Spending time in nature 4.Listening to inspiring music 5.Writing poetry 6.Doing service 7.Thinking deeply about what matters most 8.Writing in a journal
