What is mercantilism? to export more than you import

What is an indentured servant? a person who worked for another person for 4-7 years in exchange for passage to the New World
How is an indentured servant different from a slave? Slaves had fewer rights, and spent their entire lives working for another person.
What is Fort King George? a warning point for the Spanish to not invade the British colonies
Name four items that were taken from the Old World to the New World. rye, radishes, beets, sugar cane, rice, peaches, and wheat/ farm animals

What is a trustee? How many were there? Someone who ruled on behalf of King George 2nd/ 21 trustees
What could the trustees not do? They couldn't hold office, they couldn't own land, they couldn't be paid for their work, and they couldn't pass laws.
What was the Battle of Bloody Marsh? an event when Oglethorpe tried to invade Spanish Florida, but failed/ was not bloody or big/ marked the beginning of a safe southern frontier for the British
Name three accomplishments of the colony in its first twenty years. 5500 people settled there/ the Bethesda Orphans Home was established by Whitfield/ John and Charles Wesley started the first Sunday School in America and founded the Methodist Church/ survived many hardships
